Two and a half months ahead of the elections, senior Likud officials are expressing significant concern over the coalition's electoral standing. At a party conference in Petah Tikva on Sunday, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana openly acknowledged the precarious position of the right-wing bloc, stating that if elections were held today, the situation would be difficult. "We need to convince the public; there is still time to showcase achievements. But if elections were today, the situation is problematic," Ohana said, as first reported by journalist Amir Ettinger.

In response to challenging poll results and coalition anxieties, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has initiated immediate measures to bolster Likud's media presence and messaging. According to a report by Walla, Netanyahu recently met face-to-face with several ministers and Knesset members and held phone conversations with others. During these discussions, he outlined recent security and political developments and instructed party members on key messages to emphasize in the media going forward.

As part of this strategy, a prominent group of spokespersons has been assembled to lead the party's media efforts. This group includes Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chair Boaz Bismuth, Coalition Chair Ofir Katz, Education Minister Yoav Kish, and Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Shikli. This coordinated effort aims to strengthen Likud's public communication in the critical weeks leading up to the elections.
