Former Planning Appeals Committee Chair Sigalit Assayag Tzruya Joins Piron Law Firm as Real Estate Partner

Attorney Sigalit Assayag Tzruya, who served as chair of the Central District Planning and Building Appeals Committee for the past seven years, has joined the Piron Law Firm as a partner in the real estate department. She will lead the firm's planning and building practice. During her tenure, Assayag Tzruya oversaw hundreds of appeals related to building permits, plans, betterment levies, and claims for property devaluation. Her role involved analyzing statutory plans, interpreting them, and resolving planning disputes with legal and economic implications.

With over 20 years of experience in planning and construction law, Assayag Tzruya began her career in the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office and later managed the criminal department in Ashdod Municipality, where she was responsible for enforcing planning laws, business licensing, municipal supervision, and environmental issues. She also served as the Northern District supervisor in the State Attorney's Office's real estate enforcement division, overseeing planning and building enforcement nationwide.

At Piron, she will assist developers, companies, and landowners in advancing plans, zoning changes, building rights, betterment levies, property devaluation claims, and proceedings before planning institutions. She also practices mediation.
