Grenade Explosions Target Residential Buildings in Holon and Tel Aviv Amid Ongoing Criminal Feuds

Late Monday night, a grenade was thrown at a residential building on Tzvi Tadmor Street in Holon, near the local police station. No injuries were reported, but property damage occurred. This is the second such incident at the same building in the past year and a half, causing residents to live in fear. One neighbor described waking up to a loud explosion and fearing the worst, saying, "Maybe someone was killed, maybe there’s a terrorist downstairs." Residents expressed frustration over the ongoing violence and called for authorities to address the root causes.

In parallel, two unexploded grenades were found in northern Tel Aviv. One was discovered in a residential complex on Nissim Aloni Street, and another was found inside the pool area of the luxury Kochav HaTzafon tower. Police and bomb disposal units secured and removed the devices without injuries or damage. Residents of the luxury complex voiced alarm over the violence encroaching on their homes.

These incidents coincide with developments in a related criminal investigation. Prosecutors filed indictments against two young men from Bat Yam, aged 18 and 22, suspected of throwing a grenade at a Jafnika branch in Kiryat Ono on July 13. The attack, linked to ongoing violent disputes between the Mosli and Jarushi crime organizations, caused property damage but no casualties. Police used technological means to identify and arrest the suspects shortly after the attack, seizing evidence tying them to the crime.

While the Kiryat Ono case moves toward prosecution, new investigations are underway in Holon and Tel Aviv following the recent grenade attacks. The ongoing criminal conflicts continue to threaten the safety and peace of ordinary residents, who urge law enforcement to take decisive action to end the cycle of violence.
