Grenade Attacks Continue Across Israel, Causing Fear and Damage in Residential Areas

Multiple grenade incidents occurred overnight in Holon, Hadera, and northern Tel Aviv, causing property damage and panic but no injuries. In Holon, a grenade was thrown at a residential building on Tzvi Tadmor Street, damaging the property and frightening residents. Police bomb disposal and forensic teams responded to the scene. This building had experienced a similar grenade attack about a year and a half ago. Neighbors described the explosion as terrifying, emphasizing the fear caused by repeated attacks in a family residential area near a police station.

In Hadera, an unexploded grenade was found near a gas station, and in northern Tel Aviv, another unexploded grenade was discovered and safely neutralized by police bomb squads. Additionally, a stun grenade was found and defused in a residential complex on Nissim Aloni Street in Tel Aviv. Police indicated that all incidents are believed to have criminal motives.

These events are part of a recent surge in criminal violence involving grenade attacks, shootings, and arson attempts across Israel. Some attacks targeted branches of the Japnika chain, which is reportedly involved in conflicts between criminal groups. The police continue to investigate the connections between these incidents. The escalation prompted the U.S. Embassy to issue an unusual warning to American citizens in Israel regarding safety concerns.
