IDF Senior Command Holds Multi-Front Briefing on Ongoing Combat Readiness

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is convening its entire operational command structure, including officers ranked lieutenant colonel and above, for a comprehensive multi-front review. This gathering includes senior commanders such as battalion leaders, air squadron chiefs, naval missile ship and submarine commanders, as well as brigade and division heads. The purpose is to update operational and intelligence assessments, refine routine procedures, and align all commanders on current priorities.

The meeting focuses on lessons learned from recent engagements with Iran, as well as the security situation in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and Syria. Commanders from the Northern, Central, and Southern Commands will present detailed reports on activities and developments across these sectors during the first half of 2026. A dedicated session will analyze the outcomes of the Iran campaign and discuss ongoing preparedness measures.

The final segment will address personnel status and challenges. The IDF also announced that Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir plans to hold a similar conference in the coming months specifically for reservists and deputy unit commanders, aiming to maintain high readiness across all forces.
