Eilat Resident Charged with Killing Elderly Caregiver in Jerusalem Six Days After Prison Release
The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office has filed a statement of claim at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, preparing to indict a 31-year-old man from Eilat for the murder of a 40-year-old Indian caregiver. The victim was found dead with signs of violence in the apartment of an elderly couple he cared for in the Katamon neighborhood of Jerusalem. The police were called to the scene about two and a half weeks ago. The suspect was arrested shortly afterward and was discovered to have been released from a lengthy prison sentence for a previous violent incident only six days before the murder.
