Dana Frieder shares the pain of returning to work after birth
About three months after becoming a mother with Yuda Levy, Dana Frieder opened up about the emotional difficulty of returning to work for the first time since giving birth to their daughter, Naya Dafni Levy. In a story posted to her Instagram account, she said she was leaving for a first photo shoot since the birth and admitted that separating from her baby felt deeply upsetting.
"It physically hurts me in the heart," Frieder wrote, saying she felt sad to be away from her daughter even for a few hours. Her post reflected the emotional strain of the day and the reality of balancing work with early motherhood.
Frieder also showed the practical side of that new routine, sharing the pump, ice packs and cooler she brought with her to the shoot so she could keep pumping breast milk while working.
