Dana Frieder Returns to Work Three Months After Giving Birth, Says It Hurts
Actress Dana Frieder said returning to work three months after giving birth to her daughter Naya has been physically and emotionally painful. In a post on Instagram on Sunday, the 39-year-old filmed herself in central Tel Aviv carrying a cooler, writing, "No, I'm not a summer camp counselor, I'm a mother with a cooler and a breast pump and ice packs going out for the first time to a photoshoot, and my heart hurts." She added, "It physically hurts in my heart, I can feel it."
Naya Daphne Levi, the first child of Frieder and actor Yehuda Levi, was born in March and, according to the report, marked a change in the couple's status. Since the birth, Frieder had stayed home with the baby, but now she is being forced, in her words, to resume her routine. The article says Naya will carry her father’s surname.
Frieder and Levi spent time after the birth in a maternity hotel, and a week later they left with their daughter, in what was described as the first public sighting of Naya in a stroller. Less than a month after the birth, paparazzi photographed the family in Tel Aviv on their way to Tipat Halav, the well-baby clinic, wearing coordinated outfits.
The latest post showed Frieder leaving home alone for her first photoshoot since giving birth. The report says she did not smile in the video and appeared to be struggling with the separation as she started work again.
