Dana Frieder says returning to work after childbirth is painful

Israeli actress Dana Frieder said she is struggling emotionally and physically as she returns to work three months after giving birth to her first child with Yehuda Levy. In an Instagram post on Sunday, June 14, 2026, the 39-year-old filmed herself in Tel Aviv carrying a cooler and wrote, “No, I’m not a camp counselor, I’m a mom with a cooler, a pump and ice packs going out for my first filming day, and my heart hurts.”

Frieder said in the video that the experience of leaving home for the first time since the birth was more than just difficult. “It physically hurts in my heart, I can feel it,” she said. She did not smile in the clip.

Their daughter, Naya Dafni Levy, was born in March 2026 and changed the status of the high-profile couple. Frieder had stayed home with the baby since the birth. The family initially stayed in a maternity hotel and left a week later, when they shared their first image of Naya in a stroller.

Less than a month after the birth, paparazzi photographed the family in Tel Aviv on the way to a Tipat Halav child health clinic, dressed in coordinated outfits. On Sunday, Frieder began the day without them and returned to work.
