Actress Kim Or Azulai Opens Up About Postpartum Struggles

Israeli actress Kim Or Azulai, 23, has shared her candid feelings about the challenges of new motherhood just days after giving birth to her first child with basketball player husband Yiftach Ziv. Azulai described the experience as "not rosy, not glamorous, and not easy," revealing that she had been unable to respond to messages for five days due to the overwhelming adjustment.

Marking the symbolic start of the school year on September 1st, Azulai noted that this date also represented the beginning of the "most significant framework of life" for her and her husband: parenthood. She posted a video of herself crying, stating, "I am in adjustment," and expressed gratitude for the medical team at Ichilov Hospital, the post-natal hotel, and her doula, who provided her with security.

Azulai acknowledged the immense gift of her child and the need for time to process the experience, promising to share more details later. She also extended heartfelt thanks to her mother for her constant support, their families, and her husband, whom she called her "most stable and strong anchor."

"I'm going to cry a little more, because it's okay and it's legitimate," she concluded, emphasizing the normalcy of her emotional state during this significant life transition.
