17-Year-Old From Jaffa Arrested for Cocaine Possession and Multiple Drug Sales
A 17-year-old minor from Jaffa was arrested on July 28 after being stopped by Tel Aviv police while riding a motorcycle in a restricted area on Nes LeGoyim Street. During a search, officers found approximately 50 grams of suspected cocaine concealed in his clothing. Following the initial arrest, police investigations uncovered four additional instances where the teenager allegedly sold drugs in the central Israel and Gush Dan areas.
The minor was taken for questioning at the Jaffa police station and subsequently detained. His detention has been extended multiple times as the investigation progressed. Authorities stated that the evidence indicates the drugs were intended for distribution rather than personal use. Over the weekend, a prosecution declaration was filed, and his detention was extended by the court. An indictment is expected to be submitted in the coming days.
