Israeli Police Arrest 16-Year-Old for Drug Dealing in Central Tel Aviv
Israeli security forces arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of drug trafficking after he allegedly conducted a drug deal in central Tel Aviv. The arrest followed police surveillance of a scooter rider who stopped near a building on a city street to hand over a package to a woman. Both individuals were detained, and the woman was found carrying suspected cannabis.
A search of the teenager, a Tel Aviv resident, uncovered 22 bags containing several hundred grams of suspected cannabis and hashish, approximately 6,300 shekels in cash, and a mobile phone believed to have been used to facilitate drug transactions. The minor was taken for questioning, subsequently imprisoned, and is scheduled for a court hearing where the police will request an extension of his detention. The investigation remains ongoing.
