Father of Nova Party Victim Confronts Minister Rakevet Over October 7 Tragedy and Gaza Policy

Nissim Lok, father of Shani Lok who was killed in the Nova party massacre on October 7, recounted his painful experience and confrontation with Minister Miri Regev in a 103fm interview. He revealed that Regev's daughter was evacuated from the Nova event early at 4:30 a.m., before the attack began. Lok described the moment he identified his daughter’s remains after her car entered Gaza and disappeared, with ZAKA volunteers finding DNA evidence confirming her death.

Lok expressed deep anguish over the loss of 3,000 children since October 7, emphasizing the emptiness felt by families during Shabbat meals without their children. He also shared a heated encounter with Regev and her entourage at Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda market, where he accused them of causing the tragedy. Regev reportedly withdrew without responding, and her aides accused Lok of being responsible for the events.

He strongly criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government, accusing them of enabling the transfer of Gaza to the Muslim Brotherhood through policies approved by a right-wing cabinet. Lok condemned the monthly $100 million Qatari funding, which he claimed financed the rocket that killed his daughter. He warned that Gaza has become a Muslim Brotherhood base with Turkish soldiers, making the security situation more dangerous.

Lok called Netanyahu a leftist for ceding land to enemies and demanded a national change to restore honesty, values, love, justice, and religion in Israel. He stressed the collective blood debt owed to the 3,000 children lost and urged unity beyond political divides. Lok concluded by emphasizing the need to reclaim Israeli land and criticized the current government for betraying the country’s interests.
