Abraham Hadi Charged with Property Damage and Extortion Threats Against Israeli News Outlets
The Tel Aviv Police have filed a prosecution statement against Abraham Hadi ahead of formally charging him with property damage and extortion threats. Hadi is suspected of involvement in five separate criminal incidents targeting several Israeli media organizations and the Ministry of Justice. The investigation, conducted by the Tel Aviv District Police, uncovered evidence linking Hadi to serious offenses including damage to the entrances of News 12, Haaretz newspaper, Israel Hayom, and the Ministry of Justice building. In the News 12 case, a threatening letter was also left at the scene. Authorities seized clothing and other items from Hadi's home that connect him to the crimes. The prosecution is expected to submit formal charges in the coming days.
