Netanyahu Advisers Allegedly Shared Classified Information with Qatar to Discredit Egypt

Three advisers to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Yonatan Orich, Shrulik Einhorn, and Eli Feldstein, are reported to have passed classified security information concerning Egypt to Qatar, according to a security source cited by Israel Hayom on Sunday. The information reportedly originated from secret high-level security discussions and was shared with Qatari officials to enable Qatar to disseminate incriminating material about Egypt in the Israeli media. The ultimate goal, the source claimed, was to strengthen Qatar's position in hostage negotiations at Egypt's expense.

The security source emphasized that the leaked information allowed Qatar to attempt to "discredit" Egypt publicly by using details from confidential security talks. In response, Einhorn's lawyer, Lior Epstein, denied the allegations, stating Einhorn was never a Prime Minister's adviser, never worked in the Prime Minister's Office, and that the claims against him are false and baseless. Yonatan Orich, who is already facing indictment in a separate case, also strongly denied the accusations, calling them "complete lies" and politically motivated during the election campaign. Orich asserted he never attended classified discussions nor shared any classified or other information with anyone worldwide. No response was received from the Prime Minister's Office or Feldstein's legal counsel by the time of publication.
