Maccabi Tel Aviv Demands Nearly €3 Million for Roy Revivo Amid Elche's €1.7 Million Offer

Spanish club Elche has offered €1.7 million for Maccabi Tel Aviv defender Roy Revivo, who has already agreed personal terms with Elche. However, Maccabi Tel Aviv rejected the initial bid and later received a slightly improved offer, which still falls short of their nearly €3 million asking price. Revivo is eager to leave immediately, having agreed to a salary of around €500,000 per season with Elche, a significant raise from his current €189,000 at Maccabi. Demonstrating his determination to transfer, Revivo refused to travel with Maccabi to a match against CSKA Sofia. For the deal to proceed, Revivo must forgo 15% of his transfer fee entitlement, and Elche needs to increase their offer. Despite these complications, both sides remain optimistic about finalizing the transfer. Meanwhile, Maccabi officials expressed frustration with Revivo's conduct, stating, "He is acting on his own accord."
