Maccabi Tel Aviv Seeks Special Deal with Revivo Family Amid Low Offers for Roy Revivo
Following a heavy 3-0 defeat to CSKA Sofia in the third qualifying round of the Europa League, Maccabi Tel Aviv is actively working to finalize the transfer of left-back Roy Revivo to Elche. Revivo was not included in the squad for the match, signaling ongoing negotiations to advance the deal. According to reports from Spain and Israeli sports sources, Elche's offer is below three million euros, including bonuses, which Maccabi considers low. Consequently, the Israeli club is requesting 15% of the transfer fee from the Revivo family, who hold a stake in the player's rights.
In addition to Elche's interest, Portuguese clubs Sporting Lisbon and Porto have also shown significant interest in Revivo. It is expected that the player will eventually move to another club as he continues his career progression. Last season, Elche finished 15th in La Liga and has twice won the Spanish second division historically. Maccabi Tel Aviv is making efforts to bridge the gap between the offers and the player's value to complete the transfer soon.
