Suspected Serial Arson in Ramat Gan Sparks Fires at Three Locations, Seven Residents Treated for Smoke Inhalation

In the early hours between Thursday and Friday, three fires broke out at separate but nearby locations in central Ramat Gan, raising suspicions of deliberate arson. The first fire was reported in the lobby of a residential building and a palm tree on Herzl Street. Shortly after, another blaze erupted in the lobby of a building on the adjacent Jabotinsky Street. Firefighters from the Dan District Fire and Rescue Services responded swiftly, extinguishing the flames and conducting thorough searches inside the buildings to ensure no one was trapped. They also worked to clear the dense smoke that had accumulated in stairwells and lobbies.

Seven residents were evacuated with minor injuries caused by smoke inhalation and were taken for medical treatment. A fire investigator from the Fire and Rescue Services examined the scenes and concluded there is a strong suspicion of intentional arson, with a likely connection between the three fire sites. All initial findings have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
