Six-Month-Old Baby Chokes on Plastic Bag in Bnei Brak, Condition Critical
A six-month-old infant suffered a severe choking incident involving a plastic bag at a home in Bnei Brak. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded promptly, providing advanced resuscitation efforts including chest compressions, ventilation, and medication administration. The baby was unconscious, without pulse or breathing upon their arrival. After stabilizing the infant, they transported him to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer with multiple system trauma. MDA emergency medic Shimon Kalpner described the situation as critical, noting the infant was brought in unresponsive and that resuscitation continued en route to the hospital.
