Infant Dies After Choking on Plastic Bag in Bnei Brak Home
A six-month-old infant tragically died after choking on a plastic bag in his home in Bnei Brak on Thursday evening. The child was found unconscious by family members and emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) were called to the scene at 21:22. Paramedic Shimon Kalpner reported that upon arrival, the infant was without pulse and not breathing. Advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, ventilation, and medication administration, were performed on site and during transport to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. Despite these efforts, the infant was pronounced dead at the hospital.
