Security Guard Arrested for Involvement in Fan Brawl at Petah Tikva-Netanya Match

During a Toto Cup match between Hapoel Petah Tikva and Maccabi Netanya at HaMoshava Stadium, a fight broke out among Petah Tikva fans and civilian security guards in the stands. Police from the Petah Tikva station intervened to restore order, allowing the game to resume and finish without further incident. One person was lightly injured in the altercation. As part of the investigation, a security guard in his twenties from Abu Ghosh was arrested on suspicion of fleeing the scene after striking fans with a baton. Another security guard was questioned and subsequently released.
