57-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Tayibe Amid Ongoing Blood Feud
A 57-year-old man was shot and killed on Wednesday in Tayibe, central Israel. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene to find the man with multiple gunshot wounds and no signs of life, and he was pronounced dead on site. The police from the Sharon district, based in Tayibe, have launched an investigation into the shooting, collecting evidence and securing the area while searching for the suspects. Authorities suspect the shooting is linked to a longstanding blood feud. Three Tayibe residents have been indicted and a detention request filed against them for attacking and injuring a man in front of his family on a promenade, possibly related to the same conflict. Paramedics Younes Haj Yahya and emergency medic Adi Fiomi reported the victim was unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing upon their arrival, and despite medical efforts, his injuries were fatal.
