Man Killed in Shooting in Tayibe, Arab Community Death Toll Reaches 159

Raed Haj Yahya, a man in his 50s and owner of a workforce company, was killed in a shooting incident in the city of Tayibe, located in Israel's southern Triangle region, on Thursday evening. Emergency medical services attempted resuscitation at the scene before transporting him to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, where he was pronounced dead due to his injuries. Paramedics described finding the victim unresponsive inside a vehicle, without a pulse or breathing, suffering from penetrating wounds.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, with the motive remaining unclear and no arrests reported as of Thursday. The incident brings the total number of fatalities in the Arab community in Israel to 159 since the beginning of the year, amid ongoing concerns about escalating crime and a perceived lack of security.
