Chili Tropper Launches Party, Demands Yoaz Hendel Lead National Security Ministry

Chili Tropper, chairman of the Beit Tzioni - Reservists party, officially launched the party's campaign on Wednesday, declaring that in the next Zionist government, the national security portfolio must be entrusted to Yoaz Hendel. The party unveiled its platform focusing on seven key areas: education, equal service, cost of living, settlement, checks and balances between authorities, governance, and rehabilitation of communities near conflict zones.

Tropper criticized years of unfulfilled promises and rising violence, emphasizing the need for practical action over political posturing. He stated, "After years of talk about governance without actual governance, and promises with bloody streets and growing violence, it's time for someone who comes to work, not to pose. Yoaz is the man for the job." He also highlighted the party's appeal to young veterans, religious Zionist youth seeking a unifying political home, and hardworking Israelis committed to improving the country.

Yoaz Hendel, who is expected to lead the national security ministry, criticized the current government for failing to protect the country, referencing the October 7 attacks and the government's retreat to bunkers. Hendel announced plans to dismantle autonomous systems within Arab and ultra-Orthodox communities, stressing that rights must come with responsibilities. He called the national security ministry "our eighth front," acknowledging current losses in that area.

Party leaders set two conditions for joining a future government: the formation of a Zionist government and the enactment of a military draft law prior to government formation. They reiterated their demand that Hendel be appointed to the national security ministry.

The event underscored the party's focus on security, governance, and social cohesion as central to its political agenda moving forward.
