Former Communications Minister Eitan Ginzburg Joins Naftali Bennett’s Yachdav Party List

On August 5, 2026, Yachdav, the party led by former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, announced that current Knesset member Eitan Ginzburg has joined its list for the upcoming elections. Ginzburg, who was originally elected to the Knesset as part of Benny Gantz’s Blue and White party, left that faction three months ago.

Yachdav highlighted Ginzburg’s extensive public service experience, including his roles as Communications Minister, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Chair of the Knesset Committee, and Mayor of Ra'anana. He is also a retired lieutenant colonel in the reserves and holds degrees in law and government from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, as well as a master’s in political science from Tel Aviv University. Ginzburg lives in Ra'anana with his partner and their twin children.

Naftali Bennett praised Ginzburg as a professional and dedicated public servant with proven execution skills, emphasizing that his addition strengthens Yachdav’s mission to repair the country without delay. Ginzburg expressed enthusiasm about joining Bennett’s experienced team, stressing the urgency of forming a government ready to address Israel’s challenges immediately and implement comprehensive reforms. He reaffirmed his confidence in Bennett’s leadership based on their previous collaboration during Bennett’s tenure as prime minister.
