IDF Paratroopers Uncover Underground Route with Dozens of Rockets in Gaza

IDF paratrooper combat teams under the Gaza Division (143) have been conducting operations in southern Gaza to clear the Yellow Line area of terrorist infrastructure both above and below ground. During these efforts, the troops discovered an underground route containing dozens of rockets belonging to terrorist organizations operating in Gaza. The route was destroyed in coordination with the Gaza Division's engineering forces and the Yahalom unit. The IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area according to the ceasefire framework and will continue working to eliminate any immediate threats, the IDF spokesperson stated.

This discovery adds to a series of operational successes achieved by the IDF in southern Gaza over recent months. According to previous reports, the 188th Brigade's combat team recently concluded eight months of activity in southern Gaza, during which they destroyed more than ten tunnels and neutralized dozens of militants. Among the tunnels destroyed was one that was part of a network used to hold hostages during the war. Additional tunnels uncovered contained various weapons, including rockets, rocket launchers, grenades, Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, explosives, and other combat equipment, all of which were destroyed.
