IDF Dog Unit Uncovers Dozens of Rockets in Gaza Tunnel During Security Operation

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage from a body camera worn by a dog from the Oketz Unit, showing the discovery of a subterranean tunnel containing dozens of rockets in southern Gaza. The operation was conducted by combat troops from the Paratroopers Brigade under the command of the Gaza Division (143), as part of ongoing efforts to clear the "yellow line" area of terrorist infrastructure both above and below ground.

During the search, the forces located the tunnel hiding the rockets, which were then destroyed by engineering units from the Gaza Division and fighters from the Yahalom unit. The IDF emphasized that Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire arrangement and will continue working to eliminate any immediate threats to the security of Israeli civilians and soldiers.
