Youngest Deputy Mayor of Ramat Gan Joins Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar Party

Gadi Eizenkot and his Yashar party announced the addition of Israel Zari, the youngest deputy mayor in Ramat Gan's history, to their ranks. Zari previously served as spokesperson for Raanana municipality, the Israeli Scouts movement, and the LGBT Association. He leads an independent youth party in Ramat Gan and holds municipal responsibilities related to youth, sustainability, and infrastructure. As head of the Stock Exchange administration, he was involved in urban renewal projects and relocating companies and institutions to the area.

Zari has also worked as a personal advisor to the Minister of Transportation and has been active in promoting equal rights for the LGBTQ community and increasing youth civic engagement. Eizenkot praised Zari as a valuable asset representing the young, quality public leadership Israel needs, highlighting his leadership in economic and urban projects alongside his commitment to equality and youth.

Zari explained his move from municipal to national politics by citing Israel's current public reality. He emphasized his lifelong work with youth and his belief that leadership is measured by action, courage to promote equality, and care for future generations. He stated that the 2026 reality in Israel demands taking responsibility and influencing national decision-making centers rather than standing aside.
