Hapoel Tel Aviv Receives Tribute from Yad LaBanim for Memorial Efforts

The award was presented on August 4, 2026, during a team training session by Yad LaBanim chairman Eli Tahar. Representatives receiving the award included club manager Salim Tuama, CEO Guy Primor, and technical manager Omer Buxenboim, alongside the players.

Eli Tahar, who lost his brother and two sons, emphasized the importance of the club's ongoing efforts to honor the memory of the fallen through ceremonies, videos, and support for bereaved families, especially since the outbreak of the recent Iron Swords war. He highlighted the organization's expanded role following the addition of thousands of new bereaved families since the conflict began.
