Top Israeli Artists to Perform at October 7th Memorial Ceremony

A star-studded lineup of Israeli musicians will perform at the National Memorial Ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the October 7th Hamas massacre. The event, scheduled for October 7, 2024, at Park Ganei Yehoshua in Tel Aviv, marks the third annual ceremony organized by the "Komo" movement and families of those killed and abducted.

Among the prominent artists confirmed to appear are Shlomo Artzi, Ivri Lider, Eden Golan, Miri Mesika, Gali Atari, Harel Skaat, Ran Danker, and Arkadi Duchin. The ceremony will be hosted by former hostage Eli Sharabi and actress Shani Cohen.

This year's event is expected to be particularly emotional, as it marks one year since the brutal attack. "This year's ceremony will be a difficult and painful event, but we must not forget the massacre we went through, we must not let the memory fade," stated Yonatan Shamriz, founder of the "Komo" movement and brother of Alon Shamriz, who was killed on October 7th. He emphasized the "moral and existential duty to continue to commemorate the loved ones we have lost."

The ceremony is set to begin at 9:15 PM and will be broadcast live on multiple television channels and radio stations, allowing the public to participate in the remembrance.
