Blue Bird Airlines Expands Weekly Flights Between Tel Aviv and Amsterdam

Blue Bird Airlines, owned by the Israeli tourism group Kavim Hofsha, announced it will increase its weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Amsterdam from three to four starting August 10. The additional flight will operate on Saturdays, joining existing flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This expansion comes amid rising demand for European travel during the busy summer season, with Amsterdam remaining a popular destination for Israelis due to the city's appeal and Schiphol Airport's role as a major connecting hub to Europe, North America, and Asia.

Ticket prices for the route start at 164 euros one-way, varying based on booking time, ticket type, and availability. Blue Bird's move reflects a broader trend in the aviation sector, where airlines are restoring routes and increasing frequencies in Israel ahead of the peak travel month of August. These developments follow months of uncertainty in the industry and aim to provide Israeli travelers with more flight options.
