Jewish Settlers Set Fire to Vehicles and Spray 'Revenge' Graffiti in West Bank

In the early hours between Monday and Tuesday, Jewish settlers set fire to several vehicles in the area between the Palestinian villages of Jalud and Talfit near the Israeli settlement of Shiloh in the Binyamin region of the West Bank. Alongside the arson, graffiti including the words "Revenge," "Avi Go Home," and Star of David symbols were sprayed on site. The reference to "Avi" targets Central Command Chief Avi Blot. This incident is part of a recent wave of similar violent acts in the area.

About a week and a half earlier, Palestinians reported multiple violent attacks across various locations in the West Bank. In the village of Kusra, a mosque was set on fire with the phrase "Revenge Binyahu" painted on its walls, referring to Binyahu Malt. Another mosque in the village of Kur was also torched, bearing the graffiti "Jewish blood is not worthless." Additionally, engineering tools were burned at the Ein Samiya quarry, and an attempt to set fire to a residential home in Beit Furik failed after gasoline was poured on the door and window. The house walls were marked with slogans such as "Jews Wake Up" and "Death to the Enemy."

These violent acts followed a recent deadly incident near the Gilad Farm in Samaria, where two Israeli reservists, Staff Sergeant Binyahu Malt and Staff Sergeant Yuval Ezra, were killed. The attack occurred during a hiking trip by a group of Israelis when a Palestinian assailant stole a security officer's weapon, opened fire, and was subsequently killed.

The escalation in violence reflects ongoing tensions and retaliatory actions between Jewish settlers and Palestinians in the West Bank, with security forces closely monitoring the situation.
