The story ยท English

In the early hours between Monday and Tuesday, three yeshiva students were rescued after their rubber boat drifted into the deep waters of the Sea of Galilee near the Shikmim beach in Tiberias. The students were unable to return to shore and suffered mild dehydration. Rescue teams from United Hatzalah, who were conducting routine patrols on the lake, quickly reached the boat and brought the youths aboard their rescue vessel. They were then transferred to the dock where additional United Hatzalah teams were waiting. Yossi Okunin, head of the United Hatzalah branch in Tiberias, confirmed the successful rescue and noted that the students were in good condition. He emphasized that since the start of the vacation period, the rescue boat has been on high alert to respond promptly to emergencies on the Sea of Galilee.
