Jerusalem Man Known as 'Saba Eliezer' Charged with Sexual Offenses Against Minors During Prayers and Travel to Uman
Eliezer Meshulamson, known in a Jerusalem synagogue as 'Saba Eliezer,' has been indicted for sexual offenses involving three 12-year-old minors. The indictment alleges that Meshulamson exploited the trust he gained among the children to commit indecent acts during synagogue prayers and lessons, as well as on a bus trip to Uman.
According to the charges, Meshulamson occasionally took his young son and the minors on outings to pools and springs, where he further abused his position of trust. He is accused of repeatedly committing these acts while taking measures to conceal them and avoid detection.
The prosecution has requested that Meshulamson be held in custody until the conclusion of the legal proceedings. The charges include multiple counts of indecent acts under circumstances of rape and an attempted indecent act under similar circumstances.
