Haifa Woman Charged After Violent Neighbor Dispute Involving Threats and Assault on Police Officer

Diana Lev, a 39-year-old resident of Haifa, faces multiple charges including assaulting a police officer, threats, and property damage following a violent neighbor dispute on July 3, 2025. Lev allegedly smeared cat feces on neighbors' doorways, cut off the building's electricity, and threw flower pots on the floor in a residential building on Keshet Street. During the incident, she shouted threats such as "I will kill you all" at the neighbors, and one witness testified that she spat in his face.

The situation escalated when a police officer arrived to detain Lev. According to the indictment, while handcuffed on one hand, Lev attacked the officer by punching her temple, pulling her hair, and biting her fingers, causing injuries that required treatment at Rambam Medical Center. Lev also knocked the officer down, damaging her glasses and phone, and continued kicking her while she was on the ground, threatening, "I will make sure you die."

The charges against Lev include assaulting a police officer, simple assault, threats, and property damage. The case highlights a severe breakdown in neighbor relations in Haifa, with the violent confrontation prompting legal action and public attention.
