Haifa Woman Charged After Violent Neighbor Dispute Involving Threats and Assault on Police Officer

Diana Lev, a 39-year-old resident of Haifa, faces multiple charges following a violent altercation in her apartment building on Keshet Street. The incident, which occurred on July 3, 2025, escalated after Lev smeared cat feces on neighbors' doorways, cut off the electricity supply, and threw flower pots onto the floor. She also verbally threatened the residents, shouting, "I will kill you all." One neighbor testified that she spat in his face.

The situation intensified when a police officer arrived to detain Lev. According to the indictment, after being handcuffed, Lev attacked the officer by punching her temple, pulling her hair, and biting her fingers, causing injuries that required treatment at Rambam Medical Center. Lev then knocked the officer to the ground, damaging her glasses and mobile phone, and continued to kick her while threatening, "I will make sure you die."

Lev has been charged with assaulting a police officer, simple assault, threats, and property damage. The case highlights a severe breakdown in neighbor relations in Haifa, with the violent confrontation prompting legal action. The police spokesperson confirmed the charges and the ongoing investigation into the incident.
