Reserve Soldier and Resident of Kiryat Tivon Charged in Drug Trafficking Network Supplying Soldiers
A 34-year-old reserve soldier from Tiberias was arrested on suspicion of stealing an M-16 rifle from a fellow soldier in his unit and running a drug trafficking network. The network primarily supplied hard drugs to soldiers stationed at bases in northern Israel. He operated the network alongside a 30-year-old resident of Kiryat Tivon. Both men have been indicted on drug trafficking charges. Additionally, the reserve soldier's brother, a lieutenant colonel at a northern base, provided them with medical cannabis obtained under license. He is also suspected of obstructing justice and conspiracy to commit a crime.
