Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo Mourns Rabbi Yaakov Bronfman, Esteemed Torah Scholar

The Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem is mourning the passing of Rabbi Yaakov Bronfman, a respected and longtime resident known for his deep commitment to Torah study and Hasidic teachings. Rabbi Bronfman, son of the late Yitzchak Bronfman, was a devoted scholar and a close disciple of Rabbi Shlomo Twersky of Hornsteipel from Denver, Colorado. He maintained strong spiritual connections with the Rebbes of the Rachmistrivka and Belz Hasidic dynasties, to whom he was deeply devoted.

Known for his piety and kindness, Rabbi Bronfman was a regular presence at synagogues and study halls, inspiring those around him and raising a family dedicated to the path of Torah and Hasidism. His friends and community members remember him as a man of great fear of Heaven who welcomed everyone warmly.

His funeral is scheduled for Monday, the 20th of Menachem Av, at 11:00 a.m., beginning at the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem. The procession will pass through the Rachmistrivka Great Study Hall on Givat Moshe Street before proceeding to Har HaMenuchot cemetery for burial. Rabbi Bronfman is survived by his family, who are sitting shiva at their home on 23 Admor M'Lubavitch Street in Ramat Shlomo. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
