Throughout his life, Rabbi Perush was recognized for his humility, simplicity, and kindness, welcoming all into his home and maintaining a steadfast commitment to his daily study and prayer routines despite personal challenges. His funeral took place on Saturday night, the 19th of Av, following the weekly Torah portion Eikev, and he was laid to rest at Har HaMenuchot cemetery in Jerusalem. His family is currently sitting shiva at their home on 17a Givat Shaul Street in Jerusalem. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
