Rabbi Chaim Peretz, Esteemed French Talmudic Scholar, Passes Away at 80

Rabbi Chaim Peretz, a respected dayan (rabbinical judge) in France and a leading figure at the Torah V'Rachamim Yeshiva in Paris, passed away at the age of 80. Known for his profound Torah scholarship and humility, Rabbi Peretz was a distinguished student of Rabbi Matzliach Mazuz, the head of the Kisei Rachamim Yeshiva in Tunisia. Despite enduring many years of suffering, he remained dedicated to teaching and spreading Torah with devotion and love. His funeral will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Har HaMenuchot cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
