Three Young Men Arrested in Ashkelon with Weapons and Face Coverings

Three men in their twenties from southern Israel were detained in Ashkelon during a police operation targeting local crime. Officers from the city's juvenile unit stopped a vehicle carrying the suspects and conducted a search. They found an airsoft gun with matching ammunition, a machete, a commando knife, a hammer, a Taser gun, face coverings, gloves, and several mobile phones. The vehicle was seized and the suspects were taken for questioning at the police station.

Deputy Commander Doron Sasson of the Ashkelon police station stated that the force is committed to proactive and determined efforts against criminal elements, relying on quality intelligence and focused operational activity. He emphasized the ongoing mission to prevent violent offenses and remove weapons from public areas to ensure community safety.
