Six Ashkelon Teens Brutally Rob Foreign Worker in Planned Ambush

Six teenagers from Ashkelon, some as young as 14, violently robbed a foreign worker in a carefully planned attack about a month ago. The assailants ambushed the victim near a neighborhood entrance, hiding in bushes while two waited on the road. The victim, arriving on an electric bicycle, was attacked with stones and sticks, beaten severely, and robbed of his bicycle and personal belongings. A vigilant passerby suspected the ambush and alerted the police, who arrived shortly after the assault began. The victim, injured and bruised, managed to leave the scene and seek help by flagging down a vehicle. Ashkelon police officers from the Lachish region quickly apprehended all six suspects the same day and filed serious charges against them. Authorities emphasized that while the suspects will face punishment, the broader issue of youth violence requires systemic intervention beyond law enforcement.
