Foreign Worker Arrested for Stealing Phones from Bathers at Tel Aviv's Cliff Beach
Police officers from the Tel Aviv North station arrested a foreign worker from Eritrea over the weekend on suspicion of stealing mobile phones from bathers at Tel Aviv's Cliff Beach. During a proactive security operation aimed at maintaining public order along the city's beaches, officers noticed the suspect riding a bicycle without a helmet and stopped him for questioning. Upon inspection, they found five mobile phones in his pockets, believed to have been stolen from beachgoers. The suspect was detained and taken for investigation. Subsequently, the police located the owners of the phones, who came to the station to retrieve their devices.
