Israeli Border Police Arrest Illegal Immigrant Hidden Inside Speaker in Vehicle Trunk
Israeli Border Police fighters operating near Jerusalem arrested an illegal immigrant who was hiding inside a speaker placed in the trunk of a car. The discovery occurred during a routine security check at a crossing, when officers became suspicious of the speaker. Upon thorough inspection, they found the individual concealed inside the speaker, which was hidden behind a child seated in a car safety seat. The driver of the vehicle was also detained on suspicion of transporting the illegal immigrant. Both were transferred to the Border Police's investigation and intelligence office in the Jerusalem area for further questioning.
The police emphasized that this arrest was part of ongoing operational efforts by the Border Police to prevent illegal entries into Israel. In the past week alone, Border Police units across various sectors arrested approximately 460 illegal immigrants and over 60 suspects suspected of transporting, harboring, or employing illegal immigrants.
