Man Shot Dead in Negev Marks First Arab Community Murder in 20 Days
A man was fatally shot on Thursday evening in Kseifa, near Arad in the Negev region. Police launched an investigation into the incident, which resulted in the death of the man who was critically wounded and later pronounced dead at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. Two other men sustained minor injuries and were also treated at the hospital. This killing is the first in the Arab community after a 20-day period of calm. Since the beginning of the year, 155 people from the Arab community have been murdered. Officers from the Arara police station responded to the scene, began investigating the circumstances, and are conducting searches to locate the suspects involved. Authorities have indicated that the incident is criminal in nature.
