Two Men Killed in Hours Amid Ongoing Violence in Arab Communities

The wave of violence in Arab society continues to claim lives, with two murders reported within hours on Thursday morning. In the town of Reineh, a man was shot dead; his identity has not yet been released. Earlier, an 18-year-old was killed in a shooting incident in Haifa, where three others were also injured. Police have launched investigations into both cases but have not made any arrests so far.

According to police statements, officers were called to Reineh early Thursday following reports of gunfire directed at a man. Medical teams arrived but declared the victim dead at the scene. Northern District police began searching for suspects and are investigating the circumstances, currently assessing the motive as criminal.

In Haifa, the fatal shooting occurred on Haganah Street late Wednesday night. The 18-year-old victim died at the scene, while two others were seriously injured and taken for medical treatment; a fourth person with minor injuries arrived at the hospital independently. The Coastal District Commander, Chief Superintendent Yehiel Bohadana, visited the scene and assigned the investigation to the Carmel Unit's Crime Fighting Division. Preliminary findings also suggest a criminal background for this incident.
