Samaria Council Head Urges Unity and Love After Captain Yuval Ezra's Murder

Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, and Moshe Chakmon, chairman of the Givat Gilad settlement committee, visited the family of Captain Yuval Ezra, who was killed in a terrorist attack near Givat Gilad. The family is sitting shiva in their home in Beit Dagan. During the visit, Yuval's father, Chaim Ezra, called for national unity and love, warning that hatred allows enemies to enter. He emphasized that while Israelis can be rivals, they must not become enemies.

Dagan echoed this message, calling love for Israel the most important mission, especially in a time when hatred threatens the country. He described the meeting with the Ezra family as deeply moving and inspiring hope for the nation's future. The family also expressed solidarity with the family of Benyahu Maltz, who was killed alongside Yuval in the same attack while protecting a group of hikers.

Yuval Ezra was remembered at his funeral by family and his fiancée, Timor, as a beloved man with a constant smile and a kind heart who dedicated his life to others. The visit aimed to offer condolences and strengthen community bonds amid the tragedy.
