This measure follows a fire safety order issued by the Fire and Rescue Services to prevent wildfires during the high-risk period. The authority also warned that hiking trails across the country might be closed depending on conditions.

Simultaneously, the Israel Electric Corporation urged the public to remain vigilant and report any safety hazards such as torn power lines, tree branches near electrical wires, or fires near electrical facilities. Reports can be made via the company’s emergency hotline 103, its website, or WhatsApp service. These precautions aim to reduce fire risks and ensure public safety amid the anticipated heat stress.
