Woman Bitten by Snake at Work in Rishon Lezion in Serious Condition
A 48-year-old woman was seriously injured after being bitten by a snake this Wednesday morning at her workplace on Mikun Volcani Street in Rishon Lezion, located in the coastal plain region. The initial report was received by Magen David Adom's 101 emergency center in the Ayalon area at 07:51. Medical teams arrived promptly, administered immediate treatment including specific medications, and rushed her by intensive care ambulance to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) while she remained conscious. Her condition was described as serious but stable. Paramedic Tehila Cohen, who treated the woman at the scene, recalled that the patient was fully conscious and described the bite on her lower body. The medical team provided urgent care and continued monitoring during transport to the hospital.
