Child Miraculously Unharmed After Being Run Over in Bnei Brak Crosswalk Incident

A rare incident was recorded Tuesday morning in Bnei Brak where a child crossing a pedestrian crossing with his mother suddenly ran back onto the road, apparently to retrieve a fallen kippah. At that moment, a car passed over the child, who bent down and lay flat on the ground, emerging unharmed. The footage of the event is available at the top of the report.

Separately, a 36-year-old electric scooter rider was injured last night in northern Tel Aviv. Emergency medical teams treated him at the scene on Rabbi Kusovsky Street and transported him to Ichilov Hospital with a head injury.

On Monday evening, a six-year-old boy was moderately injured in Lod after being hit by a car on Friedman Road. He was taken to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) with head and limb injuries.

Also on Monday, a serious accident occurred near Nir Eliyahu in the Sharon region on Road 5504, where a private car collided with a bus. An 18-year-old man was killed at the scene, and another young man was seriously injured. Both were passengers in the car. The bus driver sustained minor injuries. Magen David Adom paramedics Noam Torem and Avichai Pinchasi reported that upon arrival they found three injured individuals, including the unconscious trapped driver. Despite rescue efforts, the driver was pronounced dead. The other injured passenger and the bus driver were evacuated to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, with conditions ranging from serious to mild.
